Get ready for it....
Books.
Yes. Some of my best friends, most beloved men, deepest dreams, are found in the pages of literature. So is it any wonder that I am often lost to the world with my nose buried between the leaves? My family knows I am perfectly useless in those moments. I walk around during chore-time with a dreamy smile on my face, my mind occupied in book-land. And oh, what a lovely sensation when I discover the books are based off of fact!Would you like to peek onto my recent bookshelf for a moment?
Christy by Catherine Marshall
The Gates of Zion by Brodie Thoene
David Copperfield by Charles Dickens
Behind the Scenes--30 years of slavery, 4 years at the White House by Elizabeth Keckley
Joyfully at Home by Jasmine Bauchum
Vilette by Charlotte Bronte
Surprised by Joy by C.S. Lewis
Got my hands full? I'd say so. But it's blissful. :) What beautiful books are captivating your hearts?

I'm finally trying to start/continue The Scarlet Letter. Seeing as how I was supposed to read it for highschool (kinda), now might be a good time to start. ;)
