{My Style}: Harvest Flowers

I took these pictures yesterday and the sunlight was so bright and shining and....well....glaring, frankly, that I couldn't get the best pictures. Ah me. Oh well. You can get the general gist of the outfit from these, though you won't get a single face-shot because I was squinting so badly! :D I took the pictures out in the orchard and there was no escaping the sunlight.

I love this top! I usually wear it with my jeans (it looks best that way) but since I've already worn my jeans twice, I didn't want to bore myself and everyone else to death. Therefore, I paired it with my sage-green skirt with the embroidery all round the bottom. And gracious, girls--you ought to be proud of me. I actually brought out my iron for this momentous occasion! ;)

Oh drat. A tag sticking out. Blast and wretch! I am going to buy a new cami that needn't stick up the back--the only reason I need a cami with this is because the fabric is really thin and nearly see-through in some parts--but if you look closely you can see that this top has a pretty cut-out in the back.

And a closer picture of my hair....I did some French-twist-ish thing I found on Pinterest . Not the most stunning outfit or pictures I've ever done, but we can't be glamorous every day, can we? ;)

  2. I must fulfill my duty as an Amy and remonstrate with, "Don't say blast and wretch!"

    Heehee. :P

Love the outfit, and your hair looks darling! The flower-pin is so pretty-- where did you get it?

  3. Oh, and I must clarify my prudishness in the previous comment by noting that I was only quoting, and in no way do I condemn Rachel or anyone for saying blast and wretch. :D
